The eternal NFL question is how would LeBron James perform on a professional football field. The dream of knowing was (not-really-but-kind-of-ever-so-slightly) closer on Thursday, with LeBron hanging at Browns training camp.
So did Mike Pettine offer him a contract?
"No, but I do know I’m going to be Father of the Year," Pettine said. "I got my daughter a picture with LeBron. She could care less about a picture with me."
LeBron is, quite notoriously, a Cowboys fan. But he's a Northern Ohio guy at heart -- hence his return to the Cavaliers -- so he's all about supporting the local team.
“He just asked how camp was going. You can tell he’s into it -- loves football, big Browns fan," Pettine said. "He says he’ll be at the games when it’s warm and when it’s cold he’ll be watching them in his basement."
But can he play? Maybe Donte Whitner can tell us, since he's good friends with LeBron.

“We came out of high school (at) the same time; we’re the same age, from the same area: Northeast Ohio," Whitner said. "I’ve been living in Miami the past six years in the offseason, he lives in Miami. We’ve been friends for a long time."
Again. Can. He. Play?
#Browns SS Donte Whitner says LeBron swears he could be one of best WRs in #NFL. "I don't think he could take a hit," Whitner joked.

Well that should go over well with LeBron. I probably should've just watched my own video again to find out the answer.
