The Rams were awarded a waiver claim for quarterback Case Keenum, recently cut by the Houston Texans.
St. Louis had a strong waiver position, and also have a need at QB because Sam Bradford (torn left ACL) is out for the season.
There may have been other teams below the Rams who also claimed Keenum, who was a starter for the Texans for a portion of 2013.
