Steve Smith dealing with finger injury

Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith is dealing with a finger injury, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Smith jammed his finger near the end of practice Wednesday, and was not in pads Thursday. The team will likely update his status after Thursday's practice.
