On Sunday night at 6:40 p.m. ET (on CBS!) Tom Brady will step on the field as the starting quarterback for the Patriots and break his own record for most conference championship games started by anyone in NFL history.

Brady's start against the Colts will be his ninth conference championship game start, a pretty unfathomable number when you actually think about it. Joe Montana is next on the list with seven.

If Brady and the Pats can get past the surprising, upstart Colts and Andrew Luck on Sunday night, Brady will be in line for another record: most Super Bowl starts.

An appearance in Arizona would be Brady's sixth Super Bowl start; he's currently tied with John Elway with five career Super Bowl starts.

The Patriots would also tie the record for most Super Bowl appearances (Cowboys, Steelers) with a victory, which would give the franchise an eighth shot at the Super Bowl.
