WR Ryan Broyles participated fully in Detroit’s OTA workouts Tuesday. His performance is an encouraging sign that the second-round draft pick’s ACL rehab is progressing better than originally expected. Broyles didn’t wear a protective wrap on his knee during drills, and looked solid while catching several deep passes. If Broyles is healthy enough to participate fully in training camp, the Lions could begin the season with the deepest WR talent pool they’ve had during Jim Schwartz’ tenure in Detroit.
