Bills' DJ Moore: Getting traded to Buffalo
The Bears agreed to trade Moore to the Bills on Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Buffalo will send a second-round draft pick to Chicago in exchange for Moore and 2026 fifth-round pick.
Moore should instantly slot in as the top receiving option for Josh Allen under head coach Joe Brady. The veteran wide receiver had at least 1,157 receiving yards in both the 2020 and 2021 regular seasons with the Panthers, where Brady was the offensive coordinator at the time. Moore's 682 regular-season receiving yards with the Bears in 2025 marked the lowest total of his eight-year career, as he lost target share to recent draft picks Rome Odunze, Luther Burden and Colston Loveland (concussion). Khalil Shakir led the Bills in targets and receiving yards each of the past two regular seasons, compiling 148 catches for 1,540 receiving yards on 195 targets over that span.

Bears' DJ Moore: Scores early TD in playoff loss
Moore hauled in five of eight targets for 52 yards and a touchdown while adding eight yards on one rush attempt in Sunday's 20-17 overtime loss to the Rams.
Moore scored the game's first touchdown in the second quarter, but it wasn't enough to lift the Bears past the divisional round of the playoffs. The 28-year-old saw his production dip significantly for the second year in a row after finishing with a 50-682-6 receiving line across 17 starts during the regular season. Moore did take on a larger role once the playoffs got under way, as he averaged 5.5 receptions and 58.0 yards while scoring a touchdown in each of his two appearances. Despite the veteran wideout's diminishing production in the regular season, Moore should retain his starting job with Chicago after signing a four-year, $110 million contract back in 2024.

Bears' DJ Moore: Clear for divisional round
Moore (knee) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's divisional-round game versus the Rams.
Both Moore and fellow WR Rome Odunze (foot) followed an LP/LP/FP practice regimen this week, but only Odunze is entering the weekend as questionable to suit up. There's been no indication that Odunze is trending in the wrong direction to do so, and if he ends up being available, a similar breakdown of snaps between him (69 percent) and Moore (86 percent) from this past Saturday's wild-card win against the Packers is possible Sunday.

Bears' DJ Moore: Logs another limited listing
Moore (knee) was limited at practice Thursday.
The same applies to fellow WR Rome Odunze (foot) after both players also were listed as limited on Wednesday's estimated injury report. The Bears' next report is destined to clarify whether either of the duo are able to upgrade to full participation Friday, as well as their official game statuses ahead of Sunday's divisional-round contest against the Rams.

Bears' DJ Moore: Listed as limited Wednesday
Moore (knee) was listed as limited on Wednesday's estimated injury report.
Moore also was limited at last Tuesday's walkthrough before capping the week with a full practice Thursday and heading into the weekend with no designation. He proceeded to lead Bears wide receivers in snap share (86 percent) in this past Saturday's wild-card win versus the Packers en route to six catches (on seven targets) for 64 yards and one touchdown and one carry for minus-5 yards. Both Moore and fellow WR Rome Odunze (foot) were limited at Wednesday's walkthrough, so their statuses will continue to be monitored ahead of Sunday's divisional-round contest against the Rams.

Bears' DJ Moore: Scores key TD in playoff win
Moore secured six of seven targets for 64 yards and a touchdown and rushed once for minus-5 yards in the Bears' 31-27 wild-card win over the Packers on Saturday.
Moore paced the Bears' wideouts in receptions and receiving yards while tying Luther Burden for the lead in targets on the night. The veteran also made up for a drop earlier in Chicago's game-winning drive by hauling in a 25-yard scoring strike from Caleb Williams that would prove to be the game-winning touchdown. Moore should continue playing an integral role in next weekend's divisional-round clash.
