Angels' Steven Duggar: Sent down by Angels

Duggar was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake on Thursday.

Duggar was claimed off waivers by the Angels in early August, but he hit just .053 with a triple, three runs, three walks and 13 strikeouts over nine games with the big-league club. He'll head to the minors since Mike Trout (ribs) expects to rejoin the Angels on Friday.
