The Dodgers designated Sherfy for assignment Tuesday, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.
The righty pitched one inning for Triple-A Oklahoma City and allowed three runs after being claimed off waivers June 30. Wahl's 40-man roster spot was filled by waiver pickup Jimmie Sherfy on Tuesday.
