Indians' Shane Bieber: Plays catch Monday

Bieber (shoulder) resumed playing catch Monday, Paul Hoynes of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Bieber has been sidelined since mid-June due to a right shoulder strain, and Monday's throwing session was the first time that he had resumed normal throwing since he landed on the injured list. A timetable for the right-hander's return to game action isn't yet clear, but it's encouraging to see him resume some activities shortly after the All-Star break.
