Martinez signed a minor-league contract with the Orioles on Thursday, Roch Kubatko of MASNsports.com reports.
Martinez spent last spring with the Mets but was released by the club in April and didn't sign with another team for the rest of the season. He'll now get another chance to prove himself with an MLB organization, but his lack of experience beyond Double-A likely means he'll spend the season in the minors.
