Phillies' Brady Lail: Claimed by Philly

Lail was claimed off waivers by the Phillies on Sunday and optioned to Triple-A Lehigh, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

The 27-year-old was designated for assignment by the Mariners on Thursday, and he'll now join a new team. Lail appeared in two games for Seattle and gave up three runs on four hits with one strikeout and zero walks across two innings.
