Rays' Ryan Thompson: Slated to throw bullpen

Thompson (shoulder) will throw a bullpen session Saturday, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

Thompson was transferred to the 60-day injured list earlier in the week, but he'll continue mound work following Tuesday's transaction. The right-hander isn't eligible to return until early September, but he's still making progress following his brief shutdown in July.
