Reds' Aramis Garcia: Contract selected by Cincinnati

Garcia's contract was selected by the Reds on Thursday.

Garcia will serve as the No. 2 catcher behind Tyler Stephenson to begin the 2022 campaign. Garcia hit .205 with three homers, eight runs and seven RBI across 32 appearances with Oakland last year and is unlikely to see much playing time as long as Stephenson remains healthy.
