Reds' Jose Peraza: Late scratch Friday

Peraza was removed from Friday's starting lineup against the Marlins prior to first pitch, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Peraza was initially expected to play shortstop and bat second, but he was held out due to an illness. Blake Trahan will draw the start in Peraza's absence.
