McCain (bruised lungs) was able to run on the treadmill without any issues Friday and is expected back for on-court activity by Saturday, Cody Taylor of USA Today reports.
McCain sustained the injury after a hard fall during Wednesday's preseason matchup against the Nets. While he is considered day-to-day ahead of Wednesday's regular-season opener versus the Bucks, it bodes well for the rookie that he will get back to practice before the regular season.
