McCain (rest) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Hawks, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.
McCain and the rest of the Thunder's regulars won't travel to Atlanta for the first half of a back-to-back set, but they're expected to suit up Tuesday, when they host Indiana. McCain started the preseason opener but is slated for a bench role on Opening Night if everyone is healthy.
