Heat's R.J. Hampton: Returns to NBA

Hampton will re-join the Heat ahead of Monday's matchup in Charlotte, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.

Hampton and Nikola Jovic were sent to the G League on Sunday, but Kyle Lowry (back) was a late addition to the injury report, prompting Hampton's return to the NBA club. Due to numerous injuries, Hampton could emerge as a depth option for Miami, though he's made only one NBA appearance this season.
