Dylan Cantrell: Cut from Pats' practice squad

The Patriots have released Cantrell from their practice squad, Doug Kyed of NESN.com reports.

This move comes days after Cantrell joined the team's practice squad. New England presumably did not see what it was looking for and made a quick decision to go in another direction. As a result, the 26-year-old will look for a new landing spot.
