Falcons head coach Arthur Smith said that Gallman remains third on the depth chart at running back behind Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) and Mike Davis, Josh Kendall of The Athletic reports.

Smith went on to say that Gallman's season-high 52 percent snap share and season-high 15 carries in last week's 43-3 loss to the Cowboys was mostly a byproduct of a blowout, in addition to the fact that the Falcons faced a quick turnaround for Week 11 with a Thursday night game versus New England. With 23 snaps, Gallman outpaced both Patterson (15) and Davis (20), but Gallman won't be a lock to lead the way for the Atlanta backfield even if Patterson -- who is listed as questionable for Thursday's game -- ends up sitting. Prior to last week, both Patterson and Davis had consistently worked ahead of Gallman, and if Smith is to be believed, the pecking order among the backs won't change Week 11. That being said, a Patterson absence Thursday would still open up more opportunities for Gallman than usual, even if Davis is the likelier candidate of the two to pick up the start.
