Royce Freeman: Joins LA's practice squad

The Rams signed Freeman to their practice squad, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.

Freeman did not make the Rams' 53-man roster, but the veteran running back will remain in Los Angeles as a member of the team's practice squad. Freeman will practice with the team and provide a depth option if the Rams need to call him up to the active roster due to injuries.
