Royce Freeman: Waived from practice squad

The Chargers waived Freeman from the practice squad Tuesday.

The running back was not elevated for a game in his 15-day tenure on the practice squad. In a corresponding move, the Chargers signed safety Marcus Maye to the practice squad. Freeman will now be placed on waivers, and if he clears will become a free agent.
