White (concussion) followed up a big rookie campaign with another strong season in 2018, finishing with 54 tackles, eight passes defensed and two interceptions. He's yet to miss a game through his first two pro seasons. Unfortunately, a lot of the metrics that grade White as one of the league's better corners don't count in fantasy, plus he's built up enough of a reputation that teams are shying away from him more and more. Still, those are at least reliable IDP numbers, while White and safeties Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer (all under contract for 2019) will continue to make up one of the league's better secondaries.
White is ruled out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins due to a concussion. White was initially listed as questionable to retake the field Week 17, but has ultimately entered the league-mandated concussion protocol. Denzel Rice is expected to slot into the starting lineup for the remainder of Sunday's season finale.
White recorded eight tackles (six solo) and a pass defensed across 75 defensive snaps in Monday's loss to the Patriots. White was second on the team in tackles Monday, bringing his season total to 28 (24 solo). The 23-year-old continues to see the most work out of any cornerback on the roster by a wide margin. He'll now shift his focus to containing Mitch Trubisky and the Bears' passing attack this Sunday.
White (ankle) practiced fully Friday after being limited Wednesday and Thursday and does not have an injury status for Sunday's game in Houston, the Bills' official site reports. Expect Buffalo's best corner to become very familiar with the explosive DeAndre Hopkins in one of the better 1-on-1 matchups you'll see around the league this week.
White was listed as limited during Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury. Typically a limited practice this early in the week yields an active status come Sunday, but White's status will bear monitoring nonetheless. The shutdown corner has one of the better matchups for football purists to watch this week when he puts his talents to the test against Houston's DeAndre Hopkins, a battle that would be tough even if White were playing on two good ankles.
