Devils' Nico Hischier: Not playing Tuesday

Hischier (lower body) will not play Tuesday versus the Avalanche, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.

Hischier will be forced to miss at least one game with the lower-body injury. Mason Geertsen is expected to enter the lineup in a bottom-six role, while Jesper Boqvist or Pavel Zacha figure to feature in a more significant role in the lineup. Hischier will try to be ready for Thursday's game against the Jets.
