Maple Leafs' Easton Cowan: Inks entry-level contract

Cowan agreed to a three-year, entry-level contract with Toronto on Thursday.

Cowan had 20 goals and 53 points in 68 OHL contests with London last season. The Maple Leafs selected him with the No. 28 overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft. The 18-year-old plays a gritty game, but he's not likely to play in the NHL anytime soon.
