Hill will have X-rays on his injured wrist Monday, Kevin Kurz of The Athletic reports.
Hill has battled injuries throughout his four-year NHL career, having never played in 20 or more games in a season. The 25-year-old netminder figured to enter the season as the No. 2 option to begin with, so he may not miss too many starts if he is shelved. In the meantime, Alexei Melnichuk will serve as the backup to James Reimer.
