This will never be old. Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, and Gary Player get things going on Thursday at the Masters with another ceremonial tee shot.
Nicklaus won the long drive contest (by two yards) and he also won over the crowd by saying he wanted to do this all over again for real.
Who wouldn't?
I have to say, one of my favorite Masters memories ever was getting to the first tee box at 7:30 AM on Thursday in 2012 and watching this historic threesome kickstart that year's event.
There's nothing like it in all of sports.
Tiger Woods agrees:
It never gets old watching the honorary starters tee off. One of the oldest and best traditions in the game.
