Red Sox left fielder Daniel Nava has received a rare start for the Wednesday night game in Cleveland. He is replacing Jonny Gomes in the lineup.
Nava has had a miserable season that has included two demotions to Triple-A Pawtucket. His stat line of .130/.221/.234 pales in comparison to the one he recorded in 2013, when he played a significant role in the team's run to the World Series title.
