Home runs continue to elude Nick Markakis

Orioles outfielder Nick Markakis went 1 for 4 with one run and one RBI Monday against the Diamondbacks. Markakis is batting .294 (10 for 34) with two RBI, three walks and five RBI in his last eight games.

Since the All-Star break, Markakis is batting .287, but he has no home runs and just four RBI in 22 games. Markakis hasn't homered since June 24, which is a stretch of 41 games without hitting a home run.
