Koji Uehara secures save No. 7

Red Sox closer Koji Uehara earned his seventh save Thursday afternoon against the Mariners.

The right-hander needed 13 pitches and struck out two to retire the side in order in an 8-7 victory in extras. He has a 1.83 ERA and a 0.79 WHIP in 39 1/3 innings.
