Newly acquired outfielder Alejandro De Aza will make his debut for the Red Sox on Friday, playing left field and hitting eighth.
de Aza was traded to the Red Sox on Wednesday after the Orioles had designated him for assignment. The 31-year-old De Aza hit just .214 in 30 games with the Orioles after batting .293 in 20 games with Baltimore in 2014.
