Nationals release pitcher Chris Young

The Washington Nationals released pitcher Chris Young Tuesday, reports MLB.com. Young went 1-0 this spring with four earned runs allowed over 16 innings for a 2.25 ERA. The Nats did not have room on the roster for him and he'll look for a job elsewhere. The Mets could have an opening as they are dealing with multiple injuries to starting pitchers.
