Rockets guard Aaron Brooks suffered an ankle injury in the third quarter of Thursday's game against the Grizzlies, and was unable to return in a 100-92 win.
Brooks went down with 20 seconds left in the third quarter, and had to go to the locker room for treatment. Fortunately, he appears to have avoided a serious issue, with the team's broadcast noting that he had the ankle re-taped, and was likely available to return if needed.
Brooks played 15 minutes prior to the injury, scoring six points on 3 of 7 shooting, with two assists. This is his second single-digit scoring effort in a row.
Brooks is likely to receive treatment Friday with the Rockets off, but appears to be okay. He is likely day to day heading into Saturday's game against the Pelicans.
