Deron Williams told reporters Monday that he needed an injection on his ankle after tweaking it in Game 6 vs. the Raptors.

Williams had an up-and-down series vs. Toronto. He was largely absent until Game 6, but finished the series strong on both ends. The Nets need him healthy and ready to go against a Heat team that struggles with dynamic point guards.
The Nets face the Heat in Game 1 Tuesday night.
