Suns guard Ish Smith continues to fill in as the team's backup point guard, as he played 21 minutes Wednesday in a 126-117 win over the Bucks.
Smith played 21 minutes in Wednesday's win, with Goran Dragic missing some time with an elbow issue. He scored six points on 3 of 6 shooting, but matched the team-high with six assists. He turned the ball over just once, and added two rebounds and two steals in his effort.
Smith has been the primary backup point guard for the Suns over the last month or so, but his production remains pedestrian. He is averaging 3.7 points and 2.7 assists in the month of January.
