Marcin Gortat undergoes precautionary MRI

Wizards center Marcin Gortat had a precautionary MRI taken on his back Thursday, according to the Washington Post.  He has been playing through a back strain suffered last week, and the MRI was taken just to follow up on the injury, which does not appear to be serious concern at this time.

Gortat is averaging 15.3 points and 9.3 rebounds per game since returning from a one-game absence due to the injury.
