Offensive touchdown: check. Defensive touchdown: check. Special teams touchdown: check and check.

The craziness began late in the first half, when the Patriots, up 14-0 at the time, inexplicably attempted a dropkick. Eight plays later, Sam Bradford hit Zach Ertz for a touchdown and the Eagles cut the lead to 14-7. Nine plays after that, the Eagles blocked a punt and took it to the house with seconds left in the half. 14-14.

Then, midway through the third quarter Tom Brady threw a red-zone interception. Ninety-nine yards later, safety Malcolm Jenkins crossed the goal line and Philly had a 21-14 lead.

If that red-zone pick-six seems unfamiliar, it should; it's the first in Brady's NFL career. By the way, that's one of the worst attempts at a tackle you'll ever see.

But there's more! Minutes later Darrren Sproles took a punt 82 yards to the house to give the Eagles a 28-14 lead.

That's the second special-teams touchdown allowed by the top-ranked Patriots' special-teams unit. So yeah.

There's more still! On the next series, Tom Brady caught a pass -- yes, caught -- before throwing another interception.

Meanwhile, the Eagles have never beaten the Tom Brady-led Patriots, and if it does happen Sunday, the AFC playoff picture just got a lot more interesting.
