Calvin Johnson played record-breaking 2012 with broken fingers
When he went out on the field and shattered NFL receiving records, Lions superstar wideout Calvin Johnson did so with broken fingers.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson set an NFL record for receiving yards in 2012, surpassing Jerry Rice in the history books while catching 122 passes for 1,964 yards and five touchdowns.
It was quite impressive. But it should've been even more impressive because, as it turns out, Johnson did it with broken fingers.
Calvin Johnson confirmed that he played with broken fingers last season. Said he's been trying to straighten them out. No offseason surgery

This is beyond phenomenal to me. Was Megatron feeling jealous because of all the attention Adrian Peterson got for his nearly record-breaking season last year coming off a serious knee injury?
Johnson apparently described the broken fingers by saying there "ain’t nothing that’s going to prohibit me from doing what I got to do."
I'm fairly certain broken fingers would keep me from doing what I do (blogging, XBox, etc) for like the next 16 weeks. At least. Not Megatron. He had the greatest season by a wide receiver in NFL history.
Imagine what he'll do with all of his appendages healthy.
