Through the first 10 weeks of the season, the Vikings rarely used second-year receiver Charles Johnson , however he put together his second solid game in a row in Week 12's 24-21 loss the Packers.

Coming off a six-catch, 87-yard performance, Johnson was once a again a huge part of the team's plans Sunday. Johnson was targeted a team-high 11 times in the game, and though he only caught three of those passes, he led the team with 52 yards receiving. Johnson also hauled in his first career touchdown, a 22-yard pass in the second quarter, giving him his first career double-digit Fantasy scoring day.

Johnson is a pretty unheralded player, so his recent breakout comes as a huge surprise. However, with Cordarrelle Patterson's inability to step up all season long, he is taking advantage of the opportunity given to him. He is at least worth a look on waivers in deeper leagues, if you need help at receiver, though it would be awfully tough to rely on him as a starter.
