Harbaugh on 0-3 start: 'When you're going through hell, keep going'
John Harbaugh and the Ravens are 0-3. On Monday, Harbaugh wasn't backing down from the challenge of climbing out of the hole.

If John Harbaugh's Ravens find a way to sneak into the postseason, they'll be the first team to come back from an 0-3 hole to make the playoffs since the 1998 Bills. According to Bill Barnwell, a staff writer at Grantland.com, since the Bills pulled it off, the last 82 teams to start 0-3 have all failed to make it into January.
Still, Harbaugh isn't backing down. Instead, he's borrowing lines from Winston Churchill to describe his team's current situation and how they'll handle it moving forward.
"What's the old saying, 'When you're going through hell, keep going,'" Harbaugh said on Monday via ESPN. "That's what we're going to do. We're going to keep going. We're going to find a way out. We will come out of this the other way."
On Sunday, the Ravens were defeated by the Bengals, losing by just four points. In total, the Ravens have lost their first three games by a combined 14 points, which should inspire some hope for a less bleak future.
"We've been in a whisker, a play of winning all three of these games," Harbaugh said. "That doesn't count for a hill of beans when it's all said and done when you look back. But it does count for something going forward. We understand what kind of football team we're capable of becoming."
Chase Stuart of Football Perspective briefly outlined how the Ravens can make a comeback. It doesn't seem entirely promising, but it doesn't necessarily seem impossible.
BAL hope for AFCN rests on making up 3 games on CIN by: Winning in CIN AFC-E opp is MIA, CIN has BUF Ben misses home game vs. BAL, not CIN

Also, while BAL already played in DEN, Bengals still have to go to Denver. Ravens can make that up if they beat San Diego at home.

Fortunately for the Ravens, they do seem poised to win their first game of the season in Week 4. On Thursday, the Ravens will take on the Steelers at Heinz Field. The Steelers will be playing without quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
