On Thursday, Brandon Browner got mail. That might not sound all too exciting, but I can pretty much guarantee that Browner received something better than what you and I got in the mail.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft mailed Browner his Super Bowl ring. In addition to the ring, Kraft also included a typed note. And, in addition to the typed note, Kraft also decided to add a personal touch, writing out a message by hand on top of the typed note.

In that handwritten message, Kraft called Browner one of his favorite players in the locker room and said he was sad to see Browner leave for the Saints via free agency.

For the record, that's two straight Super Bowl rings for Browner, who snagged one with the Seahawks prior to joining the Patriots for last season. Though the Saints are unlikely to make it so Browner wins a third consecutive championship, Browner apparently already has his sights on a return to Seattle.
