The Green Bay Packers haven't made many moves since free agency began on March 12, but they made one on Thursday. The team re-signed fourth-year linebacker Brad Jones. Terms of the deal were undisclosed. 

Jones saw the most extensive action of his four-year career in 2012, starting 10 games and playing in all 16. He ranked third on the team with 77 tackles last season, a number that includes two sacks.

Although he's spent most of his career at outside linebacker, Jones was thrust into the inside spot after injuries to Desmond Bishop and D.J. Smith. With Jones now able to play inside or outside, he should prove to be a versatile backup for a defense that ranked 11th in the league last season. 

Jones will be going into fifth season with the Packers, the only team he's played for since being taken by Green Bay in the seventh round of the 2009 draft. Jones did visit with Tennessee, before ultimately deciding to remain in Green Bay.
