RB Beanie Wells said he knew early in the season he would need knee surgery because it was bothering him so much. When asked how much pain he endured last year, Wells said: "It's always bad when you have to get surgery. But it is what it is. I just wanted to go out there and fight through it and play football." Wells ran for 1,047 yards and 10 TDs.
