Commanders' Tyler Larsen: Agrees to re-sign with Washington
Larsen (kneecap) agreed to re-sign with the Commanders on Wednesday, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
Larsen ended the 2022 campaign on injured reserve after dislocating his kneecap in Week 13, but he appears to be healthy after re-signing with Washington. However, even if he's at 100 percent, he'll have competition for the starting center spot in 2023 after the Commanders acquired Nick Gates this offseason.

Commanders' Tyler Larsen: Placed on IR
Larsen (kneecap) was placed on injured reserve Monday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
After suffering a dislocated kneecap in the Commanders' Week 13 tie with the Giants, Larsen will now be forced to miss at least four contests while on IR. The 31-year-old still has a shot to return to the field if Washington makes the postseason, but in the meantime, Nick Martin will likely take over at starting center moving forward.

Larsen was seen wearing a leg brace and using crutches after the game, but the specifics of his injury were unknown at the time. This could be a season-ending issue for Larsen, although a timeline for his return has yet to be determined. With the Commanders now on a bye week, it's possible news of when he might be ready for return isn't divulged for some time.

Commanders' Tyler Larsen: Suffers injury Sunday
Larsen was seen wearing a large brace on his right leg and using crutches after Sunday's 20-20 tie to the Giants, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
It's unclear what happened to Larsen, but with the Commanders entering a bye week, he'll have extra time to recover before the team plays again. However, depending on how serious the injury is, the extra week may not matter.

Commanders' Tyler Larsen: Activated from PUP list
The Commanders activated Larsen from the reserve/PUP list Saturday.
As expected, Larsen has been activated from the PUP list and will have a chance to make his season debut in Week 5 against Titans after missing the first four games of the season due to an Achilles injury. With Chase Roullier (knee) and Wes Schweitzer (concussion) on injured reserve, it wouldn't be surprising to see Larsen overtake Nick Martin as the starting center.

Commanders' Tyler Larsen: Set to return vs. Tennessee
Coach Ron Rivera said Monday that Washington will activate Larsen (Achilles) from its physically unable to perform list ahead of Week 5 versus the Titans, Sam Fortier of The Washington Post reports.
With Chase Roullier (knee) having been placed on the Commanders' injured reserve list just less than two weeks ago and Wes Schweitzer (concussion) also ending up there over the weekend, Larsen's expected return comes right in the nick of time. Nick Martin played center for Washington in Week 4, but it wouldn't come as a surprise to see Larsen step into a starting role right away.
