Browns' Sam Kamara: Limited in Wednesday's practice
Kamara (elbow) was a limited participant in Cleveland's practice Wednesday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Kamara missed the Week 16 loss to the Bills due to an elbow injury but is seemingly trending toward making his return. The 28-year-old has recorded just 15 tackles (10 solo) across 11 games this season and will likely continue to see limited action should he manage to play in Sunday's matchup versus the Bengals.

Browns' Sam Kamara: Not available vs. Buffalo
Kamara (elbow) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bills.
Kamara was a limited practice participant during Week 16 prep due to an elbow injury, which is severe enough for him to be sidelined for Sunday's contest. Mike Hall (illness) is also inactive, so the Browns will lean on Adin Huntington, Keith Cooper and Maurice Hurst to serve as the rotational defensive tackles behind Shelby Harris and Mason Graham. Kamara's next opportunity to play is Week 17 against the Steelers on Sunday, Dec. 28.

The 27-year-old opened the Browns' week of practice with consecutive limited sessions, and it appears he has a chance to suit up Sunday. Kamara was signed to the Browns active roster Tuesday.
Kamara, who had been on the team's practice squad, replaces defensive tackle Maliek Collins (quad). The latter was placed on injured reserve Tuesday and will miss the remainder of the season. Kamara is in his fourth season with the Cleveland organization and had a career-high 15 tackles in 2024.

The fourth-year pro from Stony Brook had the most productive season of his career in 2024, setting new career highs in total tackles, games played and defensive snaps (262). His lone start came in Cleveland's Week 18 loss to the Ravens, when he recorded six total tackles while playing 87 percent of the team's defensive snaps. Kamara, who's under contract through the 2025 season, is expected to remain one of the Browns' top reserve defensive linemen next year.

Kamara will be sidelined for a second straight game due to a concussion. He'll have to clear the league's five-step concussion protocol in order to return for Week 15 against Kansas City on Sunday, Dec. 15.
