Reid's practice window opened Dec. 17, but the linebacker has been unable to get back on the field since suffering a back injury in the Browns' preseason finale against the Rams. Reid earns a spot on Cleveland's 53-man roster, which has linebackers Tony Fields (ankle) and Mohamoud Diabate (hip) on IR until at least mid-October. Sunday's matchup against Jacksonville will be telling as to Reid's role, but if he does play, it's probable he contributes mostly on special teams while holding down a reserve role on defense.
