Evan Polei: Set for free agency
Polei will become an unrestricted free agent after St. Louis opted not to give him a qualifying offer Monday, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic reports.
Polei went undrafted coming out of the WHL but has yet to break into the NHL. Over the past five seasons, the 25-year-old winger has played for a number of AHL franchises, including AHL Cleveland last year in which he tallied three goals and three assists in 15 contests. It's unlikely Polei will find an NHL contract this offseason, so fantasy players shouldn't be expecting him to offer any fantasy value.
