Penguins' Cruz Lucius: Another two points for ASU
Lucius scored a goal and added an assist in Arizona State University's 6-3 win over the University of Minnesota-Duluth on Saturday.
Lucius has been steady this year for the Sun Devils and is up to 22 points through 18 contests. The Penguins prospect is also at a plus-2 rating on the year after going plus-5 in ASU's big win Saturday. He has shown his skills in three of four NCAA campaigns, which bodes well for him turning pro after this season.

Penguins' Cruz Lucius: Picks up two points
Lucius scored a goal and added an assist in Arizona State University's 3-2 win over Ohio State University on Friday.
Lucius has taken a step forward this year with 10 goals and eight helpers over 15 appearances. He had just 10 points in 19 outings last year with the Sun Devils, though he posted 34-point campaigns in each of his first two NCAA seasons with the University of Wisconsin. The senior winger is a Penguins prospect, and his steady offense throughout his collegiate career should lead to an entry-level deal in the spring.

Penguins' Cruz Lucius: Keeps scoring in loss
Lucius scored twice on three shots in Arizona State University's 5-2 loss to Augustana University on Saturday.
Lucius had three points on the Sun Devils' four goals this weekend, but they were swept in the two-game set by Augustana. The 21-year-old Penguins prospect has had a nose for the net early in 2025-26, racking up six goals and a helper over six games in his senior year of college. If he keeps this up, he could be part of Pittsburgh's youth movement with an NHL audition in the spring.

Penguins' Cruz Lucius: Pots hat trick
Lucius scored three goals on nine shots in Arizona State University's 5-2 win over Alaska-Fairbanks on Saturday.
This was the Final of the Ice Breaker Tournament hosted by Arizona State, and the hosts were able to get the win. Lucius was able to make an impact in the final after being held off the scoresheet versus Notre Dame on Friday. The 21-year-old winger is in his senior year of NCAA hockey and his second campaign with Arizona State after transferring from the University of Wisconsin. He struggled to the tune of 10 points in 19 appearances in 2024-25, but he's already earned four goals in as many games to begin 2025-26.
