Angels' Dillon Peters: DFA'd by Angels

The Angels designated Peters for assignment Wednesday, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.

Peters had already been optioned June 29, but now he is removed from the 40-man roster to make room for the newly acquired Adam Eaton. The lefty has never posted a sub-5.00 ERA in a big-league season, so it seems unlikely he'll attract much attention on waivers.
