Diamondbacks' Braden Bishop: Signs with Diamondbacks

Bishop signed a minor-league contract with the Diamondbacks, Chris Hilburn-Trenkle of Baseball America reports.

Bishop spent most of the 2021 campaign in the minors and played well at the Triple-A level by slashing .319/.383/.533 with 12 homers, 61 runs, 45 RBI and 10 stolen bases across 78 appearances. It wouldn't be surprising to see him invited to major-league spring training in 2022.
