Diamondbacks' Tom Wilhelmsen: DFA'd Sunday

Wilhelmsen was designated for assignment Sunday.

With Socrates Brito (finger) returning from the 60-day disabled list Sunday, the Diamondbacks opened up a roster spot by designating Wilhelmsen for assignment. The 33-year-old held a 4.44 ERA over 26.1 innings of relief this season.
